Los Angeles, CA

Latham and Watkins

We installed three floors of complete electrical system and custom lighting for this client.

Value Delivered

KDC Inc., (formerly known as Dynalectric L.A.), provided a high-end installation for an open office environment in downtown Los Angeles that included a new server room, busway tie-ins, and unique lighting.

We were able to deliver the consistent coordination this project required, performing work in an exposed area in the firm’s global service center. We also sequenced their power requirements to successfully transfer their existing server room onto a new system.

Additionally, we assisted the client in complying with Title 24 of California’s Building Energy Efficiency Standards.

Client Objectives

The client was expanding into three floors to accommodate their global service center operations, and they needed tenant improvement solutions.

Solutions

Our comprehensive solutions included installation of:

  • 120-kilowatt uninterruptable power supply (UPS)
  • Complete electrical system (distribution boards, panel boards, transformers)
  • Custom, low-voltage architectural lighting package

We also rerouted existing electrical UPS circuits to maintain global servers.
