Client Objectives
The client was expanding the Pier 400 rail storage yard and they needed comprehensive electrical services.
Solutions
In addition to providing crane electrical distribution, and the bus bar system for crane operation, KDC Inc. installed:
- All electrical infrastructure
- High mast lighting poles
- Department of Water and Power infrastructure
- Facility entrance
- Rail and storage yard entrance with track signaling, train, and motion protection
- 8,000 square feet of new wharf for mooring ships
